MEOW ARE WE?
Comments to cats is a new extension, designed to block comments.
It is easy to use Chrome extension that can be used on multiple popular websites.
Just add the extension and it will block and replace for you those harmful comments with one of our special cats.
After installing it on your browser, you can choose on which websites the app will be activated. Also, you can always reload a page with the comments if necessary.

But why?
If you wonder why one would want to block comments, the answer is simple.
There are many legitimate comments and discussions, but there are also plenty of hateful, harmful and commercial ones that should be removed.
With this new extension, you can choose when and where comments will be disabled if you have no interest in reading them.

What about the websites?
The websites can't really control what is being wrote in each comment, we understand it. Therefore we just hope that we're in a place of aid for helping those sites and their users to create safer, calmer and better user-experience.
It's important to point out that we have no intention of changing anything (like ads, for example) on those filtered sites, besides replacing the comments with photos of cats.

Q. So how does it work?
A. When entering popular sites who support the comments will be automatically replaced with a random photo of a cat, yes, that simple. Clck on the "Click here to see how it works!" tab above to see it in action.
Q. How to see which sites are supported?
A. Easy! After installing the extension, just take a look on the extension's icon. If you see a "(:" - it means the current site is supported.
In addition, you can also click on the icon, then to click the "Settings" link and then you'll see which sites are suitable to be filtered at the moment.
Q. OK, and if I want to keep comments for certain sites?
A. You can always check and uncheck sites from the Settings menu, for a constant change.
If you want to display the comments for only one time for a certain site, click on the extension icon and then click "Reload with comments" link.
Q. Will "Comments to Cats" extension support more sites?
A. Yes it will. We constantly improve the current filters and adding new one. You are more than welcome to help us finding out about relevant sites to add to our services.

Please send us only private photos, because we wish to use only valid and legal photos and not to abuse any copyrighting rules those photos may have.

Respecting your online experience:
We'll do our best not to interfere your day-to-day web usage. The main goal of the extension is just to find the relevant comments (only) and to exclude them as smooth and fast as possible.
Install/Uninstall:
The installation of the extension will be done through the Chrome webstore and under their rules of fair usage. If you wish to uninstall the extension you may easily do it via the extension's icon or your chrome browser extensions dashboard.
Charge:
It's free of charge and we'll not take any money for the usage of the extension.
Sites:
We wish to support as much sites as we can. We don't differ between them by content, just by relevancy, popularity and technical compatibility. If you own a site and think we are making a wrong decision by hiding your site's comments, please contact us.
Photos:
We wish to use only private and approved photos of cats. We don't wish to use any photos without the owner permissions. By sharing your photos with us you may take the full responsibility for the approval for their usage.
Data usage:
We don't gather and/or use any of your private data. We do count how many "replacing" events we had for getting some life-signs for the extension.
